The Franklin Mint produced a number of original works of art by Norman Rockwell. See also Rockwell Boy Scouts, Rockwell Girl Scouts, Rockwell Robert Frost, and Rockwell Mark Twain. This set has large ingots with original Norman Rockwell designs. Mintage was high for a Franklin Mint set, so it is not difficult to find. The set was originally issued in 1973 and later re-issued in 1976, but the preponderance of the mintage is from the first edition.
