This was one of the Franklin Mint’s premier sets, and is very impressive – 100 large gold-plated silver medals issued over 8 years chronicling the entire history of mankind, from the discovery of fire to landing on the moon. The entire set is contained in two large leather bound albums. Although the mintage is not extremely low, this is one of those sets that is rarely seen.
