This is the premier art medal set that the Franklin Mint produced, and its mintage spanned 8 years. 100 large medals, minted in both gold-plated and sterling silver versions. Comes in one of the largest and nicest wood display chests. The gold-plated medals do have problems with corrosion, but can be cleaned – see Cleaning Tips page. The gold-plated version was offered to Franklin Mint Collector’s Society members at a lower price than the sterling silver.
