Set shows famous handguns and rifles from countries around the world from the 17th through 20th century. The set has 2 different size ingots – one for handguns and one for long guns. Both sizes are 1 ounce sterling silver. This set is very similar to American Weapons but this one has a blue velvet lined display case. The American Weapons set has a red display case, and is much more common than the Weapons of the World set. Many Lincoln Mint sets were issued in gold-plated as well as silver versions – there may be a gold-plated version of this set also but I’m not sure.
